Come out and join us for a great evening of networking with other community business leaders.
We had an outstanding 2016 Military Appreciation Day with the St. Louis Cardinals. Ball Park Village hosted this year's event right across the street from the stadium. What a fantastic day. We had outstanding weather and over 1900 people came by and enjoyed the day.
We had a great fund raising raffle, had some new people join the AUSA and we capped it off with 63 recruits taking the Oath of Enlistment right on the field at Busch Stadium in front of over 30,000 fans who went crazy.
Make sure you plan to join us in 2017!
The Soldier for Life mindset is a holistic approach to the military life cycle career of a Soldier. The U.S. Army takes care of teammates by ensuring Soldiers start strong, serve strong, and reintegrate strong so they remain Army Strong serving their communities after they leave the Army. The U.S. Army's strategic imperative of sustaining the All Volunteer Army is directly affected by how well the veterans reintegrate back into the communities. Gen. George Washington said,
"The willingness with which our young people are likely to serve in any war, no matter how justified, shall be directly proportional to how they perceive the veterans of earlier wars were treated and appreciated by their nation."
From being members of our local chapter to donating items for our events, we couldn't do it without our Corporate Partners. Support from companies like these are the backbone of strong financial support to our Soldiers and their families. AUSA’s Corporate Members are local businesses, large corporations, civic groups, veteran’s organizations, societies and local community groups.
This program provides Corporate Members the opportunity to demonstrate to the community that they support Soldiers and their families while strengthening their own business opportunities for as little as $150 per year.
Your membership in the AUSA is what makes events to support Soldiers, veterans, retirees and their families possible like our annual Leadership Awards Ceremony where we recognize the Soldiers of the Year from Missouri & Illinois and award scholarships to outstanding students. Our members are also the driving force behind Military Appreciation Day at Busch Stadium where we feed over 1200 Soldiers before the game.
We are THE Association of the United States Army. We are your professional organization for keeping you current on issues that affect you and your family. Membership is only $30 for 2 years or $300 to be a life member.
